We provide full on site case management, telephonic case management, catastrophic case management, and limited assignments.
Our expertise has been with Worker’s Compensation with a special interest in self insured employers. Through strategic and aggressive case management skills and team building, we provide services to assist the employer/insurance carrier in reducing financial exposure while ensuring quality medical care to the injured worker thus reducing disability duration. Utilization of Case Management accesses appropriate and quality medical providers with no vested interest in the facility selected, limits indemnity exposure, facilitates progression to a safe therapeutic RTW endeavor and allows claims staff to focus on administrative duties.
Catastrophic injury Case Management is complex and time intensive with the level of involvement needed as there are many inherent issues and concerns, barriers to recovery and numerous potential complications. Complex cases that involve injuries such as multiple traumas, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, burns, amputations and significant soft tissue trauma, to name a few, require specialized case management handling.
Patient and family relationship is extremely important to empower them with a greater understanding of their injury, to be an advocate and assist in dealing with the complexities of the health care needed. Often times, multiple physicians and providers are involved and medical care coordination is extremely important to ensure all needs are met towards an optimal recovery process.
