Where Has The Time Gone?
Since the initiation of our website, the time has been flying by! Now we have reached the time of year that typically goes far too fast as we approach the holiday season and look forward to special times with family and friends. As the year comes to a close, it seems it is also a time to look back and reflect on what has been done or left undone.
2011 has been a busy and exciting year for Insight Rehab. In June, we traveled to San Antonio, Texas for the CMSA (Case Management Society of America) National Conference. It was a time of great learning and networking with Case Managers from all different professional settings and locations. The days were very busy with little time left for sight seeing. We did manage to take a quick trip to see the Alamo before catching the plane home. We arrived back exhausted, but recharged.
In August, we did our first vendor booth at the IWCI in Indianapolis. Marketing is not really our forte, so we decided we would approach this to have a good time and we accomplished our mission. We got the opportunity to meet some new people and see some prior acquaintances as well as some good friends in the business.
In October, Donna attended the AANLCP (American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners) Conference in Kansas City. Again, it was a very busy time with flying out the day prior to the conference; attending the conference and then flying back home that night. It was time well spent though as again; there was so much information and a great opportunity to meet other Life Care Planners from all over the country.
So, as 2011 comes to a close we look forward to 2012 and what lies ahead. We look forward to the opportunity to interact with those we have had long time relationships with and establishing some new. We do want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas, all of the best in the upcoming holiday season and in 2012.
